ROBERT REINERT - SONGWRITER | VOCALIST | GUITARIST & TRUMPET PLAYER 
Robert Reinert born in Cleveland, Ohio September 2, 1949 started on trumpet at age 8 and earned numerous awards for trumpet in high school. Played professionally at 16 during high school in a jazz band called the "Noteables" later called the "Collegiates" and were featured on a local TV program in Cleveland Ohio "The 1 O'Clock Club". He played the summers at the Popular "Hank Gear Jazz Club" on Lake Erie at Euclid Beach Park through high school 
A member of Tri-M (Modern Music Masters).
Recipient of the John Philip Sousa Award. 
He took up guitar at age 18 and formed his band "Coventry" at age 21. "Coventry" played throughout the Cleveland area for one year, traveled the East Coast and Central United States for three years and played locally for six more years in Cleveland. Rob began writing songs in the 70's and has written over 100 songs. He has digitally produced many of them that he included here on the "Songs" page links and "Lyrics by album" page link
Rob's style encompasses everything from blues, jazz, pop, rock, to country. He was able to meet several popular artists during his travels including Frankie Valli of the Four SeasonsThe Spinners, and The Doobie Brothers, and has jammed with The Beach Boys and The Marshall Tucker Band in Roanoke, VA at the Torch Club.
Rob received a top ten award in 1998 "Billboard Song Contest" for his song
"So Much Life to Live" he co-wrote with his brother Roger Reinert. He is A
voting member  of 
ASCAP and National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
In September of 2011 he performed a live outdoor concert in Round Hill, VA with his reunited band members of his group "Coventry" after 30 years. Still playing  with "Desert Heat" , Owner of Reinert Indie Films, and Owner of 
Robert Reinert Consulting, Financial Consulting in support of small businesses.
Formerly Owner/CPA of Reinert & Associates, PC CPA's in Ashburn, Virginia, that practice was sold in 2015 before moving to California where he now resides.
